Even if someone has founded a company and has been in business a number of years with revenues in the multi-millions, what do you believe is the greatest mistake(s) that he or she can make to destroy their ability to lead?

My answers to this question are:

  • The biggest mistake a leader can make is to believe that his people are incapable of high performance.
  • The second biggest mistake is to adopt a leadership style consistent with this belief.
  • The third mistake is actually believing that his first mistake is not a mistake.

What do you think?
